Once drawn, You can move around lines freely by selecting Move tool (Shortcut “V”) & dragging around anywhere in Design. One cool tip here is ‘Stroke Path With Brush’ which basically strokes selected path with brush (ranging from simple round brushes to patterns) It provides great flexibility not possible with simple width Adjustment feature You may also use other Tools on it just like any other layers inside Photoshop. On top of being able to change its color and thickness, Users can also try different types of dashes or even create custom shapes for your lines. Similarly, after drawing a line, you can tweak its parameters. In Photoshop, you can modify any module inserted into Your design. To create a straight line select a starting point on the canvas and drag your cursor to the point where you want the line to end while holding shift button – this way You’ll ensure that the lines are completely straight.Īnother important note is when creating a line make sure that Tool snapping is enabled by checking View->Show ->Snap To->Document Bounds option. An important note with respect line thickness is that if “Anti-Aliasing” disabled by default Your line will look jagged especially on high dpi screens so make sure that it’s checked unless You want exactly this effect – It’s often used in retro designs.
